Activities within Tempus project


Academy of Music, as a member of University of Sarajevo participates in Tempus Project Introduction intedisciplinarnosti in musical studies in the Western Balkans in accordance with the European perspective - InMusWB. This is the first TEMPUS project related to higher education in the field of music coordinated by the University in Belgrade. Besides the Academy of music Sarajevo,  partners in this project are  academic and cultural institutions from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Holland, Kosovo, Lithuania, Slovenia, Serbia and Sweden. Sarajevo Chamber Music Festival

Academy of Music in Sarajevo, in collaboration with the Manhattan String Quartet, is proud to present the second edition of the Sarajevo Chamber Music Festival.

The concert program will be accompanied by the Sarajevo Chamber Music Institute, an extensive program of masterclasses in chamber music performance presented by distinguished international artists.

Lifelong learning


In
the framework of the TEMPUS project the Academy of music Sarajevo offered students several elective courses that will bheld by teache ers from partnership academies and AEC.
Elective courses Lifelong learning and Management in music are intended by second cycle students from all
sections of the Music Academy. In the first cycle of the course, which runs from 14-18.02.2012. ,
Rineke Smilde, PhD, and Guy Woods, MA will hold lectures on the topics:
- Lifelong Learning
- Management of the music
- Today's musician as a chameleon
- Research into own practice
