Verbier Festival Orchestra poziva mlade muzičare, starosti od 18 do 28 godina, da se prijave za sudjelovanje u radionicama sa uglednim predavačima, dirigentima i solistima.

Opportunity for students: Verbier Festival Orchestra (ages: 18-28)

The Verbier Festival Orchestra (VFO) is one of the world’s best training orchestras. Apply now for the opportunity to work with leading coaches, conductors and soloists for 5 weeks in summer 2026, and perform 6 concerts at the Verbier Festival.

Programme dates: 29 June – 3 August 2026

Repertoire highlights:  Messiaen Turangalîla-Symphony; R. Strauss Ein Heldenleben; BrucknerSymphony N° 7; Rachmaninoff Symphony N° 2; Mahler Symphony N° 6

Conductors: Esa-Pekka Salonen, Simon Rattle, Daniel Harding, Lahav Shani, Gianandrea Noseda, Vasily Petrenko

VFO members are coached by principal players from leading orchestras, including the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonics, London Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.

Applicants can either apply for a live audition or submit a video recording. Neither has an advantage over the other.

Live audition application deadline: 11 December 2025

Video audition application deadline: 16 January 2026

Application Fee: EUR 75

Live auditions will take place in Berlin, Geneva, London, New York, Paris, Vienna and Zurich in January and February 2026.

The Verbier Festival will cover the cost of return travel (i.e., both the arrival and return journeys) from each musician’s place of residence to Verbier, capped at a certain amount - please check the application guidelines for more information regarding this: www.verbierfestival.com/en/orchestras/vfo/vfo-guidelines/

The Verbier Festival also covers all training/tuition costs, provides lodging, and lunches and dinners.
